     Josiah H. Ulmer was born in 1872 at Rose Valley, Gamble Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2,3 He was the son of Joseph Ulmer and Sarah Waltz. Josiah H. Ulmer married Anna E. Kurtz, daughter of Samuel Kurtz and Mary A. Konkle, circa 1921.4 Josiah H. Ulmer died on 28 April 1938 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 66 years.2,5 He was buried in the Wildwood Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2
     He was a day laborer at Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
