     Mary A. Konkle was born on 1 March 1849 at Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2 She married, at age 25, Samuel Kurtz, age 26, son of George Kurtz and Elizabeth Anna Wolf, in April 1874 at Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3 Mary A. Konkle died on 13 January 1888 at Eldred Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 38 years, 10 months and 12 days.4 She was buried in the Kurtz Family Cemetery, located in Eldred Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.5
