Roberta A. Forsyth was born on 18 February 1935.1 She was the daughter of Gurney Forsyth and Juanita [—?—].1 Roberta A. Forsyth married Ernest W. Mahaffey, son of William Lester Mahaffey and Sarah Esther Kinley, circa 1955.2,1 Roberta A. Forsyth died on 25 April 2007 at age 72 years, 2 months and 7 days.1
Her obituary was published on 6 May 2007 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:
Roberta A. (Forsyth) Mahaffey, 72, of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, died April 25, 2007, following an automobile accident that also claimed the life of her husband Ernest.
Born Feb. 18, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Gurney and Juanita Forsyth of MA.
Surviving are a son Ted Rich of Santa Rosa Beach, two daughters Kathy Mathews of Freeport, FL and Cindy Heckman of Santa Rosa Beach; one brother Robert Forsyth of Santa Rosa Beach; one sister Estella Elliott of Billerica, MA; thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was one granddaughter, Tanya Cowles.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at Quiggleville U.M. Church, S.R. 973 W., Cogan Station.1
