     Mildred Viola Kyle was born on 7 September 1906.1 She was the daughter of Lorin F. Kyle and Kathryn Yoxtheimer. Mildred Viola Kyle married, at age 19, John Harold Shafer, age 20, son of William Frederick Shafer and Martha Alice Bidelspacher, on Monday, 26 July 1926.1 Mildred Viola Kyle died on 3 July 1970 at Divine Providence Hospital, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 63 years, 9 months and 26 days.2 She was buried in the Blooming Grove Cemetery, located in Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
