Earl Philip Friedline was born on 7 January 1888 at Lyons, Rice County, Kansas.2,1 He was the son of Herman Irwin Friedline and Emma Elizabeth Bell. Earl Philip Friedline married, at age 28, Ruth Tabor Werner, age 24, daughter of John Abraham Werner and Lida Griffee, on Sunday, 2 April 1916 at Alden, Rice County, Kansas.2 Earl Philip Friedline died on 6 April 1979 at Shreveport, Caddo Parish, Louisiana, at age 91 years, 2 months and 30 days.2,1 He was buried in the Woodside Cemetery, located in Grand Saline, Van Zandt County, Texas.2
He was employed by the Morton Salt Company in 1930. He became a widower at the age of 86 with the death of Ruth in September 1974.3 The Social Security Death Index gives the last residence of record for Earl as Shreveport, Caddo Parish, Louisiana.1
