Emma Elizabeth Bell was born on 19 November 1852 at Leitersburg, Washington County, Maryland.1 She was the daughter of Frederick Bell and Susan Tritle. Emma Elizabeth Bell married, at age 21, Herman Irwin Friedline, age 27, son of John Peter Friedline and Catherine Jane Morrison, on Wednesday, 28 October 1874.1 Emma Elizabeth Bell died on 17 February 1890 at Lyons, Rice County, Kansas, at age 37 years, 2 months and 29 days.1
