     Annie E. Elliot was born in 1850 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Ralph Elliot. Annie E. Elliot married William B. Updegraff, son of Daniel Updegraff and Catherine Bennett, on Thursday, 10 December 1868 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, by the Reverend William Simenton.1 Annie E. Elliot died on 9 September 1896 at Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 46 years.1
     Annie was the youngest of six children and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Williamsport.
