Daniel Updegraff was born on 9 March 1817 at Long Reach, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Daniel Updegraff and Catharine Palmer. Daniel Updegraff married, at age 25, Catherine Bennett, daughter of [—?—] Bennett, on Thursday, 17 March 1842 by the Reverend John Hays Grier and Reverend John Green. Daniel Updegraff died on 16 February 1903 at Long Reach, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 85 years, 11 months and 7 days.1 He was buried in the Wildwood Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1
