Deborah Jane Paulhamus

     Deborah Jane Paulhamus was born in August 1834. She was the daughter of John Polhemius and Rebecca Marshall. Deborah Jane Paulhamus has also been reported to have been born 1829. She married, at age 17, George Updegraff, son of Derrick Updegraff and Ann Kinley, on Monday, 1 December 1851 at Elmira, Chemung County, New York.¹ Deborah Jane Paulhamus died in 1906 at age 71 years. She was buried in the Buchanan Baptist Church Cemetery, located in Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
