Grover Ansel Updegraff was born on 6 August 1886 at Clark County, Illinois.1 He was the son of William Martin Updegraff and Mary Alice Weaver. Grover Ansel Updegraff married, at age 18, Stella Seaton, age 18, daughter of William Trumble Seaton and Elizabeth Walters, on Sunday, 4 September 1904 at Clark County, Illinois.2 Grover Ansel Updegraff died on 5 June 1967 at age 80 years, 9 months and 30 days.1 He was buried in the Washington Street (Casey) Cemetery, located in Casey, Clark County, Illinois.2
