Margaret Carolina Waltz was born on 15 January 1850 at Fairfield Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Wilhelm Waltz and Maria Elizabeth Hurr. Margaret Carolina Waltz married, at age 23, Frederick Foltz, age 26, son of Frederick Foltz and Rosanna Goodecuntz, on Thursday, 7 August 1873.2 Margaret Carolina Waltz died on 1 October 1905 at Guthrie, Logan County, Oklahoma Territory, USA, at age 55 years, 8 months and 16 days.3
