Christian David Heim

     Christian David Heim was born on 31 August 1841 at Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Jacob Heim and Regina Rachael Steiger. Christian David Heim married, at age 23, Elizabeth Gross, age 24, daughter of Joseph Gross and Christina Ulmer, on Thursday, 6 October 1864.1 Christian David Heim died on 13 January 1935 at Quaker Hill, Eldred Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 93 years, 4 months and 13 days.2 He was buried in the Blooming Grove Cemetery, located in Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.

Christian D. Heim was born on the homestead in Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, August 31, 1841, and is a son of Jacob and Regina Heim. He was reared a farmer, and when twenty-three years of age removed to his present home. He was married, October 6, 1864, to Elizabeth Gross, who is the mother of seven children. Mr. Heim is an ardent Democrat, and has been a delegate to the county conventions a number of times, and also a member of the standing committee. He has held nearly all the offices in the township, and has been school director for nine years, and is now township auditor. He is a member of the Dunkard Church, and one of the respected citizens of Eldred Township. He was Farmer.
