Christina Ulmer was born on 30 July 1817 at Blooming Grove, Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Leonhard Ulmer and Rosina Weinman. Christina Ulmer married Joseph Gross, son of George Frederick Gross and Anna Barbara Graf, in 1833.2 Christina Ulmer died on 16 March 1857 at Quaker Hill, Eldred Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 39 years, 7 months and 16 days.1 She was buried in the Quaker Hill Cemetery, located in Eldred Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
