Jonathan W. Heim was born on 11 August 1861 at Warrensville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Jacob G. Heim and Regina Gross.1 Jonathan W. Heim married, at age 32, Louisa S. Shafer, age 21, daughter of Samuel B. Shafer and Maria Heim, on Tuesday, 26 December 1893 at home of Samuel B. Shafer, Hope, Dickinson County, Kansas, by the Reverend D. A. Homfeld.2 Jonathan W. Heim died on 27 July 1934 at age 72 years, 11 months and 16 days.3 He was buried in the Heim Cemetery, located in Dawson, Richardson County, Nebraska.1
