     Ernest P. Barto was born on 10 September 1890 at Hughesville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Ellis Barto and Huldah E. Starr. Ernest P. Barto married, at age 24, Loie R. Kiess, age 21, daughter of Daniel Edward Kiess and Clara Emma Treon, on Monday, 19 October 1914 at Hughesville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Ernest P. Barto died on 1 October 1959 at Hughesville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 69 years and 21 days. He was buried in lot 226-229F, in the Wildwood Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1
