Kenneth L. Kurtz was born on 29 June 1925 at Pennsylvania.4,5,3 He was the son of Harry Leroy Kurtz and Irene Maud Farber.6,7 Kenneth L. Kurtz married Hazel Hubler, daughter of Grover Hubler and Florence Passmore, circa 1947.8,9 Kenneth L. Kurtz died on 9 December 2002 at Williamsport Home, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 77 years, 5 months and 10 days.10,3
He appeared on the census of 30 April 1930 in the household of Harry Leroy Kurtz and Irene Maud Farber at Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. His obituary was published on 10 December 2002 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. His obituary stated:
Kenneth L. Kurtz, 77, a former resident of Race Street, Williamsport, died Monday, Dec. 9, 2002, in the Williamsport Home.
Born June 29, 1925, he was a son of Harry and Irene Farber Kurtz.
Mr. Kurtz attended Williamsport Schools and had been employed as a cook in various restaurants before retirement. He was an Army veteran having served in WW II and Korea.
Surviving are his wife, Hazel Hubler Kurtz of the city; a son, David Kurtz of Independence, Ky; daughters, Patricia Messner of Cogan Station and Nancy Michel of Swan Lake, N.Y; a brother, Carl of city; and two sisters, Marlene Hill of Trout Run and Shirley Spreen of city. There are six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
There will be no calling hours and services will be private, at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are in the care of Sanders Mortuary, Williamsport.7 According to the Social Security Administrations Death Index Kenneth's last known residence was Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3
