Olive Lavon Hewitt was born in March 1871 at Indiana. She married Wiley Mayes, son of Thomas Dudley Mayes and Barbara VanBebber, in 1890. Olive Lavon Hewitt died in 1933 at Sharon, Woodward County, Oklahoma, at age 61 years. She was buried in the Moscow Flats Cemetery, located in Woodward County, Oklahoma.
