Lois Helene Bower was born on 20 August 1906 at Paxinos, Ralpho Township, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of William Christopher Bower and Grace Garnet Martz. Lois Helene Bower married, at age 22, Collins Christopher Sykes, age 18 on Saturday, 13 April 1929.2 Lois Helene Bower died on 4 January 1991 at Divine Providence Hospital, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 84 years, 4 months and 15 days.1 She was buried in the Green Lawn Memorial Park, located in Montgomery, Clinton Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1
