     Susan Kiess was born on 31 December 1858 at Anthony Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of John Kiess and Mary Marquardt. Susan Kiess married William Willets, son of Warren Asher Willets and Elizabeth C. King.2 Susan Kiess died on 11 January 1912 at Anthony Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 53 years and 11 days.3 She was buried in the Saint John's Chapel Cemetery, located in Anthony Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
