James Wesley Livingston was born on 20 March 1893 at Wathena, Doniphan County, Kansas. He was the son of Scipo Livingston and Almina Josephine Zornes. James Wesley Livingston married, at age 20, Anna Louetta Liechti, age 21, daughter of Johannes William Liechti and Eva Matilda Cowger, on Wednesday, 1 October 1913. James Wesley Livingston died on 18 September 1961 at Doniphan County, Kansas, at age 68 years, 5 months and 29 days. He was buried in the Bellemont Cemetery, located in Wathena, Doniphan County, Kansas.
