     Sarah Elizabeth Updegraff was born on 26 September 1870 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Albert James Updegraff and Hannah McCormick Foresman. Sarah Elizabeth Updegraff married, at age 28, William Fleming Wilson, age 51, son of John Wilson and Elizabeth Crockett McCormick, on Thursday, 15 June 1899 at Second Presbyterian Church, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, by the Reverend James Carter.1
     Sarah Elizabeth Updegraff and William Fleming Wilson were also cousins.
