     Katherine Hendricks was born on 21 February 1918.1 She was the daughter of Harold Hendricks and Anna Stowe. Katherine Hendricks married, at age 17, Joseph Grange Updegraff, age 20, son of Nelson Stevens Updegraff and Lauretta Mussina Grange, on Wednesday, 9 October 1935 at Norristown, Norriton Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.2 Katherine Hendricks died on 6 July 1999 at age 81 years, 4 months and 15 days.1
