     Amos W. Meck was born in April 1860 at Liberty Township, Crawford County, Ohio.1 He was the son of Adam Meck and Rosina Christina Yeiter.1 Amos W. Meck married, at age 23, Lena Koch, age 19, daughter of Jacob Koch and Mary Kiess, on Monday, 21 January 1884 at Crawford County, Ohio.1 Amos W. Meck died on 1 June 1957 at Knox County, Ohio, at age 97 years and 2 months.1
     He became a widower at the age of 85 with the death of Lena on 28 May 1945.1
