     Margaret Bennett Updegraff was born on 11 September 1879.1 She was the daughter of Samuel Gibson Updegraff and Susan Estelle Stevens. Margaret Bennett Updegraff died on 20 July 1929 at age 49 years, 10 months and 9 days.1
     She did much of the family research and was Secretary for the Updegraff Society (now disbanded) in the 1920's. She never married.
