Kathryn Rosanna Kiess was born on 13 June 1910 at Whetstone Township, Crawford County, Ohio.1 She was the daughter of Sidney Ellsworth Kiess and Amanda M. Koch.1 Kathryn Rosanna Kiess married, at age 22, Ralph Thomas Livingston, age 24, son of Owen Lee Livingston and Mary Boughton, on Wednesday, 14 September 1932.1 Kathryn Rosanna Kiess died on 13 June 2007 at Galion Community Hospital, Galion, Crawford County, Ohio, at age 97 years.1 She was buried on 15 June 2007 in the Fairview Cemetery, located in Polk Township, Crawford County, Ohio. The funeral service was officiated by Pastor Don Trigg.
She was widowed at age 90 by the death of Ralph on 2 December 2000.1 Her obituary was published on 15 June 2007 in the Telegraph-Forum, printed in Bucyrus, Crawford County, Ohio. Her obituary stated:

Kathryn Rosanna Livingston, 97, of 1020 Winchester Road, Galion, died Wednesday at Galion Community Hospital.
Born in Bucyrus, she was the daughter of the late Sidney E. Kiess and Amanda (Cook) Kiess. She was preceded in death Dec. 2, 2000, by her husband, Ralph Thomas Livingston, whom she married Sept. 14, 1932.
She was a 60-year member of Christ United Methodist Church in Galion and a 70-year member and past matron of Bucyrus Chapter No. 3 Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, reading and knitting afghans to send to Victory Junction Camp in Randleman, N.C., a camp that serves children with a variety of health issues.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Tom and Barb Livingston of Galion and John Livingston of Pear Blossom, Calif; five grandchildren and spouses, Shawn and Denise Livingston of Galion, Missie and David Dickerson of Elkhart, Ind., Jeff Livingston of Alexandria, Va., Craig and Cielo Livingston and Kevin Livingston, all of Calif; three great-grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Dickerson of Indiana and Joshua Livingston of California; one niece, Marilyn Meade of Bucyrus; and great-nieces and nephews, Victoria Shawk, Diana Shroll and Daniel Linn, all of Bucyrus.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Raymond "Pete" Kiess.
Friends may call 6-9 p.m. today at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home, Galion. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Christ United Methodist Church with Pastor Don Trigg officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
