Koch married, at age 19, Sidney Ellsworth Kiess, age 22, son of Simeon Kiess and Catherine E. Kile, on Thursday, 29 January 1891 at Crawford County, Ohio.1 Amanda M. Koch died on 8 June 1950 at Bucyrus, Crawford County, Ohio, at age 78 years, 10 months and 6 days.1
