     Jacob H. Miller was born in March 1842 at Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2 He was the son of Jacob Frederick Miller and Barbara Cordelia Wolf.3 Jacob H. Miller has also been reported to have been born 1850. He married Elizabeth Kiess, daughter of Wilhelm Kiess and Dorothea Waltz, in 1868.4,5 Jacob H. Miller died in June 1908 at Pennsylvania at age 66 years and 3 months.6
     He and Elizabeth Kiess are thought to have had a total of 4 children, but only one surrvived. No further information on these additional children is available at this time.
