Gladys Pauline Ulmer was born on 28 March 1930 at Rose Valley, Gamble Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2 She was the daughter of Charles Ervin Ulmer and Margaret Sophia Dangle. Gladys Pauline Ulmer married, at age 20, David T. Reeder, age 22, son of Grant Laverne Reeder and Dorothy Souter, on Friday, 21 April 1950.3,1 Gladys Pauline Ulmer died on 12 April 2018 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 88 years and 15 days.
Claire Naomi Ulmer's obituary from in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, dated on 20 July 2001 listed Gladys Pauline Ulmer as her sister.4 Her obituary was published on 13 April 2018 Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:
GLADYS P. REEDER, AGE 88 YEARS
Gladys P. Reeder, of Montoursville, died April 12, 2018, at The Gatehouse in Divine Providence Hospital. She was born March 28, 1930, in Rose Valley, the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Dangle) Ulmer.
She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and its Methodist Women, taught Sunday School for over 25 years, was head of the funeral luncheon committee, and was a member of Heilman Church United Methodist Women. She had delivered meals-on-wheels for 38 years.
Preceding her in death was her husband of 67 years, David T. Reeder; six brothers; and three sisters.
Surviving are two sons, Gary D. (Wendy) and Steven L. (Bonnie), both of Montoursville; a daughter, Janice M. (Rev. James) Sunderland, of Montoursville; a sister, Dorothy Stabler; eight grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service: Bethel United Methodist Church, 400 Montour St., Montoursville, Rev. Richard M. Barner officiating. Burial will be in the Montoursville Cemetery.
