Jacob Heim III was born on 13 April 1837 at Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Jacob Heim and Regina Rachael Steiger. Jacob Heim III married Maria Christine Schäfer, daughter of Friedrich Schaeffer and Elizabeth Guinter-Strobel, in 1860.2 Jacob Heim III died on 22 March 1898 at Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 60 years, 11 months and 9 days. He was buried in the Blooming Grove Cemetery, located in Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.

The beginning reads, 'With approximately 20 family trees of families who largely live in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania and who still have living parents at the turn of the century, mostly from Mühringen and Eßlingen in Würtemberg, and who have moved here.'.'.'.'

Jacob Heim, Jr., was born, April 13, 1837, in Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, and is a son of Jacob and Regina (Staiger) Heim. He was educated at the township schools, and at a German school which originated and supported the lcal inhabitants. He is what might be termed a self-made man, is naturally of a studious and thinking turn of mind, and has the respect of all who know him. He settled on the farm where he now resides in 1860, and was united in marriage the same year to Mary Schaefer, who was born in Hepburn Township, November 15, 1836. To this union have been born four children. Mr. Heim and his wife are members of the Dunkard church in Hepburn Township. Politically he is a Democrat, and has served his party as a committeeman. He was elected a Justice of the Peace for Hepburn Township in 1882 and was re-elected in 1887 and 1892. He was Farmer, Justice of the Peace.
