     William E. Ulmer was born on 9 September 1882 at Anthony Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Daniel Ulmer and Catherine Kiess. William E. Ulmer married, at age 27, Mary Nancy Paulhamus, age 23, daughter of William C. Paulhamus and Elizabeth J. Waltz, on Thursday, 25 November 1909.2 William E. Ulmer died on 2 July 1961 at age 78 years, 9 months and 23 days.2 He was buried in the State Road United Methodist Church Cemetery, located in Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2
