Jacob F. Stoltz was born in 1872 at Cogan Station, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of William Stoltz and Mary Ann Ulmer. Jacob F. Stoltz married Alice Buehl circa 1905.1 Jacob F. Stoltz died at Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.
He was the second child and second son born to Mary Ulmer and William Stoltz. Along with the other seven children already born to his parents, he traveled from their birthplace in Pennsylvania to a farm near Dawson, Nebraska. Jacob mrried Alice Buehl and they had two daughters, Elaine and Leslie. There seems to be no record of Jacob's or Alice's dates of birth or marriage or death, nor the dates of birth of their daughters, nor if they married and had families. They resided at one time in Twin Falls, ID. He also graduated from the University of Nebraska. He taught school for a while and was also a traveling salesman, selling vaults and safety deposit boxes.
