Stoltz married Anna Margaret Heim, daughter of Johann J. Heim and Rosina Heim, in 1894.1 Charles E. Stoltz died on 22 June 1944 at San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas, at age 74 years, 1 month and 30 days.1 He was buried in the Heim Cemetery, located in Dawson, Richardson County, Nebraska.
