     Letitia Jane Crone was born on 9 January 1862 at Benton County, Indiana. She married, at age 16, Elmer Elwood Shockey, age 16, son of Jairus Rufus Shockey and Catherine Ann DeHaven, on Monday, 20 May 1878 at Wellersburg, Somerset County, Pennsylvania. Letitia Jane Crone died in 1934 at Lafayette, Tippecanoe County, Indiana, at age 71 years. She was buried in the Morning Heights Cemetery, located in Delphi, Carroll County, Indiana.
