Elmer Elwood Shockey married, at age 16, Letitia Jane Crone, age 16 on Monday, 20 May 1878 at Wellersburg, Somerset County, Pennsylvania. Elmer Elwood Shockey died on 29 July 1934 at Delphi, Carroll County, Indiana, at age 73 years, 1 month and 17 days.
