Rufus Alexander Smith and Mary Elizabeth Bolen were divorced in 1890. Rufus Alexander Smith married a second time Dicy Ann Franks on Thursday, 18 December 1890. Rufus Alexander Smith died on 5 September 1914 at Milton, Le Flore County, Oklahoma, at age 68 years.
