Mary Elizabeth Bolen first married Rufus Alexander Smith on Saturday, 5 September 1868 at Greene County, Missouri. Mary Elizabeth Bolen and Rufus Alexander Smith were divorced in 1890. Mary Elizabeth Bolen married a second time Elvin A. White circa 1893. Mary Elizabeth Bolen died in February 1918 at Beggs, Okmulgee County, Oklahoma, at age 68 years.
