     George Frederick Springman was born on 19 April 1909 at Muncy, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Solomon Springman and Alma May Stabler. George Frederick Springman married, at age 19, Bertha E. Fry, age 22, daughter of Frederick G. Fry and Clara A. Bordy, on Tuesday, 23 October 1928.1,2 George Frederick Springman died on 4 January 1996 at Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 86 years, 8 months and 16 days. He was buried in the Saint James Lutheran Church Cemetery, located in Fairfield Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
     He was Contractor - Builder.
