     Mary Jane Kurtz was born in September 1851 at Pennsylvania.2 She was the daughter of George Kurtz and Elizabeth Anna Wolf.3 Mary Jane Kurtz married, at age 21, Samuel Stabler, age 24, son of Johann Ulrich Stäbler and Anna Kehrer, in December 1872.4 Mary Jane Kurtz died in 1935 at age 83 years. She was buried in the Wildwood Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
     She and Samuel Stabler appeared on the census of 1880 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
