Johann Ulrich Stäbler was born on 4 July 1810 at Leinfelden, Oberamt Esslingen, Neckarkreis, Württemberg.1 He was the son of Johann Michael Stäbler and Anna Katharina Heimerdinger. Johann Ulrich Stäbler married Anna Kehrer, daughter of Johann George Kehrer and Anna Gutbrod. Johann Ulrich Stäbler died on 1 April 1892 at age 81 years, 8 months and 28 days.1 He was buried in the Kurtz Family Cemetery, located in Eldred Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1
