Margaret Delaney Pettit died on 25 August 1986 at Three Forks, Gallatin County, Montana, at age 79 years, 5 months and 4 days.
She was widowed at age 30 by the death of Pat on 15 August 1937. For the second time she was widowed at age 69 by the death of Steve on 12 July 1976.
