Lydia Jane Keenan was born on 10 April 1876 at Nicholas County, West Virginia.1 She was the daughter of Edward McClung Keenan and Jane Coleman Summers. Lydia Jane Keenan married, at age 19, John Edgar Nichols, age 20, son of Isaac Renolds Nichols and Nannie Evaline McCutcheon, on Tuesday, 31 December 1895 at Gilboa, Nicholas County, West Virginia.
