Sarah Stabler was born on 23 May 1879 at Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of George Stabler and Elizabeth Ulmer. Sarah Stabler married, at age 24, Harry Springman, age 28, son of Frederick Springman and Elizabeth Miller, on Thursday, 18 February 1904 at Fairfield Center, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 Sarah Stabler died on 7 February 1931 at age 51 years, 8 months and 15 days.1 She was buried in the White Church Cemetery, located in Muncy, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1

Sarah Stabler was the fifth child and the second daughter of George and Elizabeth Ulmer Stabler. She was born May 23, 1879 in Montoursville. Like her brothers and sisters, she attended the one-room school known as the Heilman School. She was a member of the Fox Hollow Baptist Church.
On the 18th of February 1904 Sarah married Harry Springman, born January 31, 1876. Harry died June 26, 1919; their oldest child was only fifteen. Sarah struggled to keep the children together and was a wonderful mother. She lived for her children and was the happiest when the y were living exemplary Christian lives. She was employed as a storekeeper for a time. Sarah Stabler Springman passed away February 7, 1931 and is buried in White Church Cemetery, Muncy, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. She was Storekeeper - Mother.
