     Theodore Warner Boggs was born on 9 August 1834 at Oakland Farm, Jackson County, Missouri.1 He was the son of Lilburn Wycliffe Boggs and Panthea Grant Boone.1 Theodore Warner Boggs died on 7 June 1905 at Prescott, Yavapai County, Arizona Territory, at age 70 years, 9 months and 29 days.1

Principal events in history of State: Was attacked by Grizzly Bear while attempting to save the life of his companion and badly mangled and disfigured in face while exploring country around Humboldt Bay in 1850. Was killed by accident in Arizona in June, 1905, thrown from his buggy while attending his mining business in Arizona. He was the first prospector in Arizona in company with the old mountaineer Capt. Joe Walker. Heard his brother John M. Boggs went to Arizona with Capt. Walker and fought Apache Indians. He settled near where Prescott is now and discovered many mines. He was the principal owner of the Butter Nut Mine in the 'Big Bug' district at time of his death.
