John Walley Groesbeck

John Walley Groesbeck was born on 9 September 1832 at Watervliet, Albany County, New York. He was the son of Garrett E. Groesbeck and Elizabeth Walley. John Walley Groesbeck married, at age 28, Catharina Stäbler, age 27, daughter of Johann Michael Stäbler and Margaretha Hurr, on Monday, 11 March 1861 at Floyd County, Iowa. John Walley Groesbeck died on 7 November 1917 at Niles Township, Floyd County, Iowa, at age 85 years, 1 month and 29 days.
