Edward Weiss Arnold

     Edward Weiss Arnold was born on 9 October 1889 at Bingen, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Harvey O. Arnold and Mary Ann Weiss.1 Edward Weiss Arnold was baptized, at age 2 months and 13 days, on Sunday, 22 December 1889 at Apples Church, Pennsylvania.1 He married, at age 41, Bessie Pearl Stabler, age 41, daughter of Abraham Stabler and Margaretha Anna Rhote, on Saturday, 3 January 1931.2 Edward Weiss Arnold died on 3 September 1976 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 86 years, 10 months and 25 days.2 He was buried on 7 September 1976 in the Wildwood Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
     Edward Weiss Arnold was also known as Ezra W. He appeared on the census of 12 June 1900 in the household of Harvey O. Arnold and Mary Ann Weiss at Northampton Heights, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. Edward Weiss Arnold appeared on the census of 22 April 1910 in the household of Harvey O. Arnold and Mary Ann Weiss at Northampton Heights, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. Edward Weiss Arnold was a die maker and consultant. He became a widower at the age of 84 with the death of Bessie on 10 August 1974.2 Edward Weiss Arnold retired in 1955 from Williamsport Die & Machine Co. A member of the Pine St. United Methodist Church; Bremond Lodge #241; AF & AM at Newport News, VA; Bloomsburg Consistory; Rajah Temple in Reading PA. He died at 1617 Elmira St. in Williamsport, his and Bessie's home.

At this time his son Frederick Ulmer Stabler (1907-2005) owned the Bible until the time of his death at which time it passed to his son Daniel Leroy Stabler.
