Shook married a second time Thomas Marnon circa 1935. Frances J. Shook married a third time, at age 56, George William Stabler, age 72, son of Abraham Stabler and Margaretha Anna Rhote, on Tuesday, 27 December 1955. Frances J. Shook died on 19 January 1976 at Denver, Denver County, Colorado, at age 76 years, 2 months and 2 days.1 She was buried on 23 January 1976 in the Wildwood Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
She was widowed by the death of Nevin in 1935. For the second time she was widowed at age 70 by the death of George on 8 May 1970.2,3
