Frank Allison DeRemer was born on 15 October 1929 at Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2,5 He was the son of Franklin H. DeRemer and Miriam R. Fink. Frank Allison DeRemer married, at age 20, Doris Alberta Hafer, age 19, daughter of Walter Henry Hafer and Margaret Elizabeth Roller, on Friday, 27 January 1950 at Lycoming Evangelical United Brethren Church, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.6,4 Frank Allison DeRemer died on 22 August 1997 at Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 67 years, 10 months and 7 days.2,5,4 He was buried on 25 August 1997 in the State Road United Methodist Church Cemetery, located in Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. The funeral service was officiated by Reverend Wayne L. Hepler and Reverend William E. Pipp.2

Members of that church, the DeRemers are the parents of three sons; Larry and Jerry, Linden RD 2, and Ernest, Williamsport RD 2. They have five grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and one great-step-grandson.
Mrs. DeRemer is the former Doris Hafer. Mr. DeRemer is a bus driver for the Williamsport Area School District and is engaged in farming.
