     Vinnie Mabel Sholder was born on 5 December 1902 at farm of Christian (Scholderer) Sholder, Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.4,3 She was the daughter of Frederick Sholder and Matilda Helen Miller.1 Vinnie Mabel Sholder was baptized, at age 11 years, 6 months and 9 days, on Sunday, 14 June 1914 at Bethel United Presbyterian Church, Bottle Run, Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.5 She married, at age 19, Elmer Edward Biichle, age 21, son of Charles Biichle and Carolynn Glockler, on Wednesday, 22 February 1922 at Presbyterian Parsonage, Newberry, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2,3 Vinnie Mabel Sholder died on 16 July 2003 at Williamsport Home, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 100 years, 7 months and 11 days.4,3 She was buried on 18 July 2003 in the Twin Hills Memorial Park, located in Fairfield Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. The funeral service was officiated by Reverend Darlene K. Little.3
     Vinnie Mabel Sholder appeared on the census of 21 April 1910 in the household of Frederick Sholder and Matilda Helen Miller at Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.      Vinnie Mabel Sholder the sister of James Lloyd Sholder was listed in his obituary in January 1969 in the local paper, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.6

     The obituary dated on 19 July 1979 for Victor Paul Sholder from Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, listed Vinnie Mabel Sholder as his sister.1 As of 1982, Vinnie Mabel Sholder and Elmer Edward Biichle lived at 1504 Louisa Street, Williamsport, Pennsylvania.2 Vinnie Mabel Sholder appears in photograph with her sister in March 1986 Florida. She lived at 1900 Ravine Road, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, between 1998 and 2003. Her obituary was published on 17 July 2003 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:

     Vinnie M. Biichle, 100, formerly of Louisa Street, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2003, at the Williamsport Home.

     She was born Dec. 5, 1902, in Williamsport, a daughter of Frederick and Matilda Miller Sholder.

     Vinnie was the wife of the late Elmer E. Biichle who preceded her in death in 1983.

     She was the oldest member of the Bethel Presbyterian Church.

     Vinnie is survived by a daughter, Doris M. Ranck of Williamsport; two sons, Howard L. of Williamsport and Harold L. of Williamsport; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Erma Pryor of Castlebury, Fla. She was preceded in death by brothers, James, Victor and Nelson Sholder.

     Relatives and friends are invited to Vinnie's life celebration beginning with a visitation at 2:30 p.m. Friday, followed by the service at 3:30 p.m. at the James C. Maneval Funeral Home, a Life Celebration Home, 500 W. Fourth St., with the Rev. Darlene Little officiating. Interment will be in Twin Hills Memorial Park.

     Family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Bethel Presbyterian Church, 2758 Bottle Run Road, Williamsport, PA 17701.3
