Prudence Juliet Yoakum was born on 1 May 1852 at Ray County, Missouri.1 She was the daughter of Moses Yoakum and Elizabeth Grimes.1 Prudence Juliet Yoakum married, at age 17, Aaron Thompson Moffitt, age 24, son of Middleton Jones Moffitt and Alice Mildred Craven, on Sunday, 23 January 1870 at Ray County, Missouri.1 Prudence Juliet Yoakum died on 6 March 1945 at age 92 years, 10 months and 5 days.1
Prudence Juliet Yoakum was also known as Prudie. She was widowed at age 80 by the death of Aaron on 6 April 1933.1
