Mary E. Davis was born in March 1860 at Missouri. She was the daughter of Jessie Lorenzo Davis and Louisa Hutts. Mary E. Davis married, at age 19, James Christopher Foshee, age 19, son of Elijah Oliver Foshee, on Sunday, 25 January 1880 at Gatewood, Ripley County, Missouri. Mary E. Davis died in 1935 at Arkansas at age 74 years.
